Pralad Simkhada

Pralad Simkhada began his journey as a young guide in Nepal, learning that trekking is about more than reaching the top; it’s about the journey, the people, and the moments of silence. His love of yoga, meditation, and a nourishing diet helps him cultivate balance, patience, and self-awareness, making every step an opportunity to enrich his soul.

Our Lead Trekking Guide!

Simkhada

Pralad Simkhada’s journey began with challenges and unexpected twists. He started out as a young, enthusiastic guide, trekking through the rugged landscape of Nepal with nothing more than a backpack, a map and a dream to show the world the beauty of his homeland. Those early years were not easy. The weather did not always cooperate, the trails were often more exhausting than expected and yes, there were times when he wondered if this was his calling. But it was on those tough days that Pralad learned the most, not only about the mountains, but also about himself.

With each trek, Pralad gained more than just experience. He learned about the people he led, the cultures they brought with them, and the silent wisdom of the mountains. He soon realized that trekking wasn’t just about reaching the summit, but about the journey itself—the conversations shared, the moments of silence in the vast landscapes, and the small victories along the way. It was this deeper understanding that kept him moving forward, even when the odds seemed impossible.

Pralad’s love of yoga and meditation plays a central role in his life. He believes these practices are just as important on a trek as they are in everyday life. They teach balance, patience, and self-awareness—qualities that make a good trek even better. It’s not about rushing to the destination, but about embracing each step along the way, just as you embrace each breath in yoga. And just as his vegetarian diet nourishes his body, he believes a nourishing journey is one that enriches the soul.
